In fact I know of people who have had her contact them as soon as they deregistered and 6 months later...so already we can see how this differs from person to person. I also have heard that the gentleman on her team has done the same.

with regards to "inspections" there wont be any. meetings will not be allowed to take place anywhere near my house and anyone violating this request will be marched away and reported for harrassment.
other than that, I've been dealing with an overbearing school for 2 years now so I'm pretty used to fighting my little girl's corner on what people are legally allowed to do with regards to her. |

Definitely sounds like you know what you want, which is brilliant.
I forgot to say this last night, but I think that whilst it's sensible to be armed with *all* of the facts and possible scenarios, scaremongering really isn't the intent. Fear of the LA isn't helpful to anyone but those LAs who continue to act in ways that contravene the legislation and guidelines. Happily there is absolutely no reason to be scared and every reason to be confident if you know the legal and policy stuff inside out (or if you know people who do). Developing practical strategies to protect your own personal boundaries (such as asking for communication to be in writing) is useful too, IMO. Wishing you and yours the best of luck. Enjoy
