Default To quango or not to quango?

Would you co-operate with a quango committee of the sort proposed by EO in its recent "prospectus" and blogged by Gill here.

Please vote in the poll and leave any comments in the thread.

No of course I wouldn't co-operate with EO or any quango of comfortable cronies that EO seduces.

No, no, no.

self important, elitist, up their own belly buttons, think they've got something to do with our lives. No no no no no no no! That's "NO" x 7! There's more where that came from too.
I am an inveterate service resistant individual.

We just don't like to make assumptions without some form of consultation, Julie.

I find it inconceivable that a handful of pompous individuals feel they can be representative of such a diverse group of people as home educators, firstly without consulting that group at all and secondly without even consulting their own members! And its a resounding NO from me!

An admirable democratically-minded approach; sadly, not all organisations recognise, let alone appreciate, democracy.
Still reeling from my attempt to comprehend "co-operate" and "EO" in the same sentence.
No. I would not.
