Default troublemaking parents - tips for dealing with them please

This lot ain't seen nothing yet. If they think parents cause trouble now, imagine what the potential for complaints is going to be when children are forced into school against their own and their parents' wishes, should Balls & Badman's fantasies come to pass.

troublemaking parents - tips for dealing with them please

This thread demonstrates that teachers still don't get the point that they are only there to serve parents and children, not the other way round. They should try running a real business where customers are not pressganged into using their services.

Just wait until parents have actual knowledge of what a 'suitable and efficient education' is supposed to be then 'it' will really hit the fan

Any thoughts on how to difuse the situation
Call me petty, but surely a Head Teacher should be able to

a.Use the correct word
or
b. At least correctly spell the incorrect word?

or is that expecting too much of today's professional educators?

This is the worst thing about 'the job', parents who think they know your job better than you, we all have them.
Oh dearie me. And one of the worst things about being a parent is the PTB and all its minions (teachers included) thinking they know your job (and your children) better than you do.

Appalling that this Head Teacher can't spell it appears she can't make up her mind between the correct spelling; "defuse" with one "f" and the incorrect spelling of "diffuse" with two, but using an "i".
I had a teacher write a complaint about me (a school governor) misusing "there" instead of "their" three times in one complaint. Maybe that's a record?
As a school governor we often get these; "troublesome parents" who "think" they know what's best for their child! Tsk, tsk! I think its the parents who are brave enough to stand up for what they believe, passion and belief is often contagious and is readily transferred to other parents.
Imagine if HE parents end up sending their children to school - then they'll really know trouble! LOL. I know school was glad to see the back of me as a parent.
Maybe Head Teachers will beg Balls to relax his requests, so we can easily HE.

this is what dp says - that he'll insist on the nearest school (whose parents cause access issues to our street twice a day, even though the school says that 95% live with half a mile) become a govenor, and become a thorn in the side of ht, la, and those parents who completely clog the local street and fill the air with loud music, smoke and foul language..... Considering that it is a sought after school, with 'nice' families, the side of the parents we see is awful!
