Default MultiGeneration CoHousing at new Ecovillage

After an 11-year battle we finally won the courtcase -against a neighbouring farmer who put his cows on our land- and we have the use of our 124 acre land back. It is overlooking Loch Tay, south facing. We are finally going to build an ecovillage -where one works where one lives- with Multi Generation- and Senior CoHousing. We identified more than 180 jobs that we can create on-site, so home-schooling and earning an income should not be a problem any longer.
The first round of meetings with Perth and Kinross Planners is starting on the 3rd of April. If you are interested to learn more about this ecovillage project with homeschooling and working near home, you can email us at contact@culdees-ecovillage.co.uk
You can also look at our website www.culdees-ecovillage.co.uk; click on the Manifesto and Cornerstones to find out what we are aiming for.

Sounds brilliant, Maryse. Glad to hear that you've won your battle.

So exciting, Congratulations! Sounds idyllic, you still have a great deal of hard work ahead but it'll be worth it! We're in the middle of our building programme at Lancaster Cohousing, do come south and have a look if you need some inspiration! We don't have as much space as you though.

Hi Suzan

Not sure if you were thinking of visiting Culdees or us in Lancaster. Nosey home educators always welcome to come peak at what we're up to during the build or after.

We have a few houses left, they are more expensive than we hoped but for the last few we might manage shared ownership and there may be a couple available to rent.
