right at the start
hi, im right at the start of beginning the home education journey and i wanted to say hi, needless to say im a bit overwhelmed.
i have a four year old daughter and three year old son, along with 18 year old and 16 year old daughters. the older girls have both gone through the schooling system, not unscathed. my youngest daughter has been to nursery, and has now been refused all three of her chosen primary schools and allocated a place at our local primary which i am not very happy with at all. i have sent in an appeal and am awaiting results. i am seriously considering homeschooling to be the best option regardless of the appeal result, both my husband and i are well educated and able to offer our little ones in depth input on a great many subjects as well as practical experiences. i just dont know where or how to start.... so im off to have a coffee and a good trawl through the threads available in the hope of finding that lightbulb moment that changes my hopes and inspirations into reality. kindest regards to all. ann
