Yes, but when your job is at stake because of cuts you are casting about for something to boost your value. Then your attention lights on home edders who, of course, are terrible people and actually have the nerve to turn their backs on the norm of school. Then you think that home edders aren't monitored (never mind the law - who reads stuff like that?) but should be so you start agitating for changes in your department and you champion closer control of home edding families because they might be doing something they shouldn't...
Benefit: your job is secure and the ptb love you because they have an excuse to harass home edders. Brill. Diane |
