Default Yet another Judge with questionable attitude and grasp of british law

When a judge makes a judgement like this, I'm bound to question what his personal life is like, what kind of person can utter these words in relation to a case like this?

Seems to me there should be a facility for jailing judges who fail in their understanding of the law and their execution of their duty to the victims of crime. This is one case where I believe that leniency is tantamount to complicity in the original crime.
