We are mobile
hi everybody , we are travelling through the Peak District in the camper , we set off on Wednesday and had a couple of nights at Gretna before heading across the border and this is our view today

We are still in the Peaks , in fact we haven't moved the van since the weekend. Yesterday we decided to take the 'footpath' and walk to dad's so off we set in the sunshine only for the combination of mud, horses, sheep and our dogs to cause us to turn back but only blip we left the dogs in the van and went a'gambolling across the fields . The Jenster was wearing the Reebok suede high tops she got for a tenner at their Gretna Gateway outlet and you would think they were blummin silk ! Talk about careful ! My only other complaint is that whenever I showed signs of starting on the slippery slope to muddyarsedom the reeboks suddenly came second to the need to escape my attempts to use her for support . Anyways we made it over a number of fields and saw dwellings so headed downhill following the coffee scent from a wee pavement cafe. Wrong village but the cappuccino was excellent and the coincidence of a bus stop with an hourly service to our destination village was awesome

I have so many pics of Hope Valley, Lakes, Lindisfarne etc to upload before we set off again in a couple of hrs after 24hrs at the house but first look what I just transformed .
. Seat before- .  . Seat after (fabric from IKEA) .

We overnighted at the mainland end of the Holy Island causeway before crossing for the day and returning with amber nectar for the Pendlewitch .  .  .  .

~This one is from the Lakes, we overnighted in a remote hillside pull in along with the Pendlewitch and this is the Jenster enjoying herself. .  . And another taken the next morning .
