Nobody's perfect. I think what they are really saying is that no, we don't want to change a parent's 'right' to home educate, but we are going to demand perfection in every home educating parent effectively making home education illegal.
They betrayed their plans when they mentioned Germany's 1938 rules in the report. Diane http://www.threedegreesoffreedom.blogspot.com Current blog - the bullying tendencies of Badman and the government |

Well, they can't but LAs don't like us. No one in the Education line likes us because we tell them that we can not do their jobs but still home educate better. We tell them that they've wasted their lives stuffing poor children's heads full of the latest approved complete bird poo. We tell them our children can and should be learning off their own bats without officious teachers looming over them and pushing for results as if they were the rabbit that the dogs run after for people to lose great amounts of money on.
Children have to be coaxed, induced, bullied, shouted at, humiliated and inveigled into learning or so our society thinks. Our children take things in with ease and happily. They eat up knowledge. Think like adults at an early age. Question everything. Challenge rot that other people spout. No wonder they want to quash us. We make them look SOOOOO BAD. Badman wants HE to show that they are "efficient" - but an HE'er could point to the worst class in the worst sink comprehensive and point out that since the Govt allows it to function , it must meet the "badman" requirement of "efficiency".
The requirement would then be very low. Best Ronnie |

Very good point, Ronnie. We are being held to a higher standard than their own schools. More discrimination. Fatter compensation cheques. Whoopeeeee!
