Although parents are legally responsible for the education of their own children and home education is an equally valid and lawful option to schooling throughout the UK, home educators are often bombarded with questions about educating their children outside the school system. We hope this forum will provide an opportunity to share information about the practicalities of home education and will help answer some of the most common questions from those who are unfamiliar with its practice. We have created sub forums for discussion of the most frequently asked questions, but feel free to post about any other issues or concerns in this section.
